1. Welding parts description
There are four types of welded joints: butt joints, T-joints, fillet joints and lap joints. The size of the butt seam of the welded workpiece joint is determined by the joint form of the weldment, the thickness of the weldment and the form of the groove. The welding performed by the electrician is usually angle steel and flat steel. Generally, there is no bevel, and the size of the seam is 0~2mm.
2. Welding method
Welding methods are divided into four types: flat welding, vertical welding, horizontal welding and overhead welding.Different welding methods should be selected according to the structure, shape, volume and location of the welding workpiece.
During flat welding, the weld seam is in a horizontal position, and the operation technique is easy to master. The diameter of the welding rod can be larger, and the production efficiency is high, but the slag and iron content are prone to be unclear. The method of moving the strip used for welding is linear. If the weldment needs to be welded on both sides, the front weld seam is welded, and the speed of the strip is slower to obtain a larger depth and width; To be faster, make the weld width smaller.
During vertical welding and horizontal welding, due to the molten metal flowing down due to its own weight, defects such as incomplete penetration and weld bumps occur, so electrodes with smaller diameters and shorter arcs are used for welding. The welding current is 12% smaller than that of flat welding.
The operation of overhead welding is difficult, and welding rods with smaller diameters should be used for welding.Short arc welding.
